Fourteen passengers were drowned. Victor Bonaparte was rescued. The boilers of the mail steamer exploded after the collision. [Received April X, at I.SO a.m.] NEW TOBK, March 69. Information has been received that the American barque Albert Russell, 724 tons, which left New York for Queensland on Feb. JO, foundered { and only two of the crew survived.
