Arawa, Captain fatuart, arrived from Wellington yesterday morning, and was berthed during the afternoon. The Union Steamship Company’s steamer Mahinapua arrived from Dunedin vis Timaru and Akaroa yesterday afternoon. The steamer Tekapo arrived yesterday from Oam am» The steamer Bosamond arrived from southern ports at 11 a.m. on Saturday. She left Dunedin at midnight on March 27, called at Oamaru and Timaru, leaving the latter port at 9 p.m. on March 29. Fine weather was experienced throughont the passage. She left ior Greymonth on Saturday afternoon. The barque La Querida was placed in the Graving Dock on Saturday morning, tor the purpose of being cleaned and painted. The steamer Akaroa arrived from Akaroa on Saturday afternoon, with a full load of grass seed, cheese, &o. , The ketches Comet and Clematis are in the stream awaiting a favourable wind to carry them to their destination. The steamer Kahn leaves for Chatham Islands this evening. The Union Steamship Company's Intercolonial trader Hauroto, Captain A. Kennedy, arrived ftlnhgaida the wharf at 7.45 a.m, on Saturday. Her purser, Mr T. Paterson, favours us with the toltowing account of the voyage. Left Sydney at 1.50 p m., and cleared the Heads at .2.85 p.m. on March S 3, Passed Farewell Spit at 7.40 a.m. on March 28, and arrived at Wellington at 7'p.m. the same day. Sailed again at 3 p.m. on the 29th, and arrived in Port as above. Experienced strong-South-east wind with heavy beam sea until mid. night on March 26, thence flue weather till arrival The Union Steamship Company's steamer Takapuna, Captain Grant, arrived from northern ports at an early hour on Saturday morning. She left Onehunga at 6.30 p.m. on March 26, New Plymouth at 8.20 p.m. on Much 27, Nelson at 5,i6 p.m. on the following day, and Picton at 2.15 a.m. on March 29.
