[Bt Telegeaph.J [from oub own correspondent.J EBEFTON, Oct. 25. INKERMAN. Yesterday, the Manager inspected the new reef found in the Supreme tunnel, and reports on it as follows :—" The reef is being driven along the hanging wall side of the reef. The course of the atone is West by South, and East by North. I cannot say hew thick the reef is, as there is no sign of a foot-wal). The tunnel is going nearly parallel with the stone. I took a piece of the stone from the last allot fired, and could aee gold plainly in several pieces. The cud of the tunnel is about 173 ft from the western boundary of the Inkerman, so that this tunnel will give our Company about 16Dft of hacks at the western boundary, and 173 ft in length from the present face of the tunnel; that is before it goes into the Supreme ground.” After the Supreme Company extends the drive ahead a little, the Inkerman Company intends to sink a winze on the reef to test the size and depth of it. Tenders for the aerial tramway have been extended to Nov. 9. SOOTH WEALTH OF NATIONS. The reef continues about the same size and quality. PROGRESS. The Directors visited the mine to-day, and selected a site for the new engine. The reef in the winze continues to go down on very rich stone, causing shares to be held very firmly. SCOTIA. Good accounts come from this quarter. The reef is making larger, and shows rich gold. BIG EIVEE. The only news is that the reef is still looking strong.
