Sydney, Nov. 19, The Government intend taking the expression of Parliament as to a change in the tram system, converting the present into a cable tramway. Aldermen J. Harris and Burden are candidates for the Mayoralty. The Calliope, which recently arrived from China for this station is a first class corvette with a heavy armament.
