At the recent session of the Grand Lodge of Freemasons of Kentucky, which was attended by five hundred representatives, the following resolution was adopted: —"Whereas, .the use of intoxicating liquors as a beverage is the greatest detriment to the growth and prosperity of the fraternity, therefore be it resolved, that the business of saloon keeping, or selling whisky by the drink, be declared a Masonic offence, punishable as other offences against Masonry.
