A DENIAL.

TO THE EDITOB. Sir, —Will you kindly allow me to correct a mistake in your last Friday's Lyttelton Times. You there report that sundry tools, valued at J 61155, were stolen about two months ago , and that the said tools were found in my shop. Now, what is the fact ? Why, that amongst a large collection of tools openly exposed for sale in my window, only one was claimed, and that one a solitary sixpenny spokeshave.— I am, Ac., JOHN WHEATLEY.
