THE KIMBERLEY RUSH.
[By Tjelegbaph.J [from our own correspondent.] BLUFF, Auoust 1. Reports from Cambridge G ulf and King Sound state that no gold has been received from Kimberley diggings for about two months. About three thousand men arenow in Kimberley district. Cartage to the diggings is eighteenpence per lb fromDerby or Wyndh'am. The prospects of the fields are not considered good enough towarrant the present rush, and the country promises better for reefing than for alluvial ■ mining. A party of three men prospecting in a gully were attacked by Natives. One was - speared through the heart, and another in the forehead. The former died instantaneously. __________________
