The steamer Wnnaka had a rough passage from Nelspn. Off Terawhiti she was poeped by a heavy sea, which carried away the awning and fittings aft. The captain reports the sea to be breaking right over Jackson's Head Beacon with terrific force, and should it continue to do so, it is feared that the beacon will sustain considerable damage.
