Notts, was continued at Nottingham to-day. The " rain which has prevailed for some day® past cleared off, and the weather was fin© during the remainder of the match. The attendance, consequently, was good. The wicket had recovered from the effects of the wet, and was fairly lively. The howling of the Australian team was much admired, being, as a rule, dead on the wicket; but they do not seem to work together yet. Their fielding was rather weak, several good chances being missed. The Australians, who, on the previous evening, had one wicket down for 50, resumed their innings, and put together 109 before being disposed of.
