TO THE EDITOR. Sib, —According to the report in your issue of to-day alcoholic drinks were freely supplied from unlicensed booths,“ subscriptions” being received in lieu of payment. If this were not an infringement of the law any tradesman in Christchurch can do likewise. Surely it behoves “the Trade" as well as the Temperance party to look into this. —lam, &c., ONLOOKEE.
