IHE following details for the REGULATION of the ROUTE to the EASTER ENCAMP- | MENT at OAMAEU, on THURSDAY, the 22nd instant, arc, by direction of the Liout.-Colonel Commanding North Canterbury District, published for general information : 1. All Arms will parade in marching order. 2. The Northern portion of the Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry and the Canterbury Mounted Rifles will assemble at the Drillshed at 8.45 a.uj., and march to Addington, where they will entrain their horses, proceeding by Special Train at 10 a.m„ in command of Major Slater. This Train will also convey the guns of E Battery, the horses of Staff, Artillery and Kattahon Mounted Officers. Horse-boxes will be provided. The Officers referred to will arrange for their horses to reach Addington not later than 9 a.m. The Train will stop at Ashburton at 12.55 p.m., at Orari at 2.30, at Tiioaru at 3.45, and at Makikihi at 4.40 p.m., to embark men and horses of C.Y.C. at these several stations. 3. The Lyttelton Naval Artillery and the N Battery N.Z. Regiment of Artillery will leave Lyttelton by 9 p.m. Traia, and await orders at Christchutch Railway Station. 4. The Kaiapoi Rifles will leave Kaiapoi by the 6.40 p.m. Train, and may on arrival at Christchnrch Station be dismissed, reassembling at the same place at 9.30 p.m. 5. The E Battery N.Z. Regiment Artillery, the Canterbury Engineers, the Ist Battalion Canterbury Rifles, and the Garrison Bond, will parade at the Drillshed at 7 p.m., thence march to railway station, and, with the Lyttelton and Kaiapoi corps, be ~«T.~_1.-n.l in oiuuiinl f.rflin nrnppa/?incy nt 10.30 p.m. in command of Major NewalL 6. The equipment should consist of two blankets, waterproof sheet, socks, shirt, flannel, towel, soap and brushes, neatly rolled horse-collar fashion and labelled with owner's name. Arrangements have been made to stow this baggage in goods vans. Corps will make their own arrangements to ensure the arrival of the above, together with Officers' baggage, at the Manchester street gate to railway platform at 9.30 p.m. The expresses should, tnerefore, be loaded at Drillshed shortly after 9 p.m. 7. The men will carry great coats (rolled), water bottles, also haversacks containing knife, fork, spoon, plate and pannikin, together with a light meal for the journey. The forage caps may be worn in the railway carriages en route. S. Corps will only be required to provide iron buckets and lanterns in the proportion of one of each for every eight men. 9. The senior Medical Officer will make his own arrangements for Ambulance and the attendance of at least one Medical Officer while the force is in the field. 10. The Camp will break up on Monday evening, the H6th, the force embarking for the return journey at 8 p.m., and arriving at Christchurch about "4 o'clock on Tuesday morning.
