ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES.
WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. The immigration and emigration returns for January are as under :
Of the arrivals, 969 were from the United Kingdom, 933 from the Australian Colonies, and 112 from other parts. Of the departures, 166 were for the United Kingdom, 712 for Australia, and 28 for other places. Chinese—No arrivals ; one left for New South Wales.
