Lytttlion Timmi Office. Tuesday Evening. CUSTOMS REVENUE. The following was the Customs revenue collected yesterday -.—Spirits, £127 9s 10d; tobacco, £177 2s ; wine, £1719s 10d; tea, £32 3s 4d ; coffee, £1 3s 4d ; sugar, £lls 12s ; goods by weight, £57 14s 7d ; ad valorem, £606 9s ; other duties, £l3 14s 6d ; total, £1149 8s sd. Mr E. G. Stavelet (for the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited), reports on the Tinwald Live Stock Market, under date Feb. 24:—Harvest time and the prevailing sou'-wester interfered considerably with the number of stock yarded, falso with the attendance. Under these circumstances it was impossible for business to be ' brisk, and many lots were passed in. Fat mixed cross-breda realised 12s 4d; fat ewes, lis; medium cross-bred lambs, 7s; well grown even do, 8s 6a;, 4-tooth merino ewes, small and poor, 6s 7d. Very few cattle came- forward. Some fat cows and heifers were disposed of at current values.
