Certain English naval and military napcrs are deploring a scarcity of men for Hits Royal navy. It is recorded that the stock of seamen had fallen to such a low '/bb that two ship? fitting out, requiring 800 men, would about exhaust all the :i mailable material; and even then a great v-iiiny young seamen, not to say boys, would oo sent afloat before their time, while of ii dined men the disparity would be still greater.
