ROAD BOARDS.
HBATHOOTB. The above Board met on Friday last at 10 a.m.; present—the Chairman and all the members.—The Clerk was instructed to write to tho Drainage Board ts Buckley a road, the Canal reserve, and Ferry road.—lt was resolved to call for tenders to form road by M'Qregor and Keighley’s, claying Lower Flat road, and for carting metal and screenings.— Tho Clerk reported the receipts to be £4B Is. Mr W. Thorne made application for some pipes across road by his place. Mio Chairman and Mr Drydon to inspect.—The following correspondence was road and dealt with: From Messrs J. and A. Anderson re Radley bridge, giving guarantee required by Board. —From the Tramway Company stating that they would commence to lay line on Nov. 21. —From Mr B. J. T. Ford enclosing copy of title for widening of River road given by Mre Barlo.—From Mr W. Dale asking for some earth by his place. Granted, subject to the supervision of the foreman.—From Mr B. Taaffo, report on swing bridges. Received From Mr N. Mortindalo certificate of No 2 bridge.—From the Belwyn County Gounod stating that tho amount applied for for bridges and other works would bo paid to tho credit of tho Board.—from Mr J. Patterson re rook at Bumnor. The Clerk to reply.— From Mr 0. A. Gawen re lamp on Btanmore road. Agreed to.-from Messrs J. M. Heywood and Co. re driving horses.—The Clerk was Instructed to see them ; also to report the matter to tho polioc.-From the Drainage Board re exchange of road. m the BandhUb. To bo invited to moot the Board on the ground on Tuesday, Nov 29, at 10,80 a,in. From Bov Merton re remission of rates for several persons.. Deferred to next Board passing accounts for £774 18# 9d, the Board adjourned.
