The following particulars are .given in the prospectus published at Home, with regard to the Stad -"The Stad Haarlem is a magnificent ship, registering 2729 tons, built in 1875 under special survey, by Messrs A, and J. Inglifc Glasgow, tor the Dutch East India Mail Service. She is propeUed by engines of 450 horse power, constructed with all vim modem improvements, has six watertight compartments,whilst her fittings and rigndmlrably adapt machinery, and always making rapid passages. The passenger accommodation is all under a spar hurricane deck; her saloons and cabins are thoroughly ventilated, and there is ample space for exercise on the grand upper deck, which extends right fore and aft. The arrangements to the comfortable acoomof all classes of passengers are excellent, the vessel In this respect belngperfeotly appointed, having bath-rooms, smoking-rooms, lounges, and ladle? boudoirs. The fittings of the first saloon are superb, and all the cabins are provided with beds, bedding, linen, Ac. The table will be supplied on the most liberal scale with fresh meat, poultry, Ac.
