Mr Henry iWsley was elected Chairman of the new Harbour Board to-day. Mrs Marion Johnston was committed for trial on a charge of perjury to-day. One of the principal witnesses against her was Mrs Beid, found guilty at the last sessions of the Supreme Court of perjury, and awaiting the decision of a law point before being sentenced.
