A MOUNTED LARRIKIN.
TO THB BDITOE 07 THE ITTTEITON TIMES.
Sib,—A novel, and it is to bo hoped solitary, variety of the genus larrikin has recently been developed. It is a mounted larrikin who amuses himself with trying to ride over children on the footpaths returning from school. My mounted larrikin is evidently a genius in his way, as he must be looked upon as the inventor of an original, if dangerous, fbrm of amusement. The theatre of operations is at present confined'to Worcester and Gloucester streets east, and, judging from the narrow escape of a child from Ming ridden down, I recently witnessed, the police might wish to see how the thing is done.—l am, &c., PATERFAMILIAS.
