For Akaroa and Otago, per Wanaka, at 11.15a.m.; ate fee letters, 11.35 a.m,; late letter box, guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, par Hawea, at 6.30 p.m. Late letter box, guard’s van, must not be used lor this mail. The next mail for the United Kingdom, vi 4 San Francisco, will close at Christchurch on Feb. I, and will bo due in London on March 18. The next mails lor the United Kingdom, vll Southampton and Brindisi will close at Christchurch on Fob. 12. The mail vi 4 Brindisi will bo due in London on April 7, and the mail vJA Southampton on April 14. NOTICE. A travelling Post-office having been established on the Southeru line of railway, letters bearing a late foe of two ponce may bo posted at any station in the mail carriage attached to the express train, and they will be included in the malls made up in transit for oiitces on the main lino and branches.
