For Aknroa and Otago, per Wanaka, at 11.25 a.m. j late fee letters, 1135 a.m.; late letter box, guard’s von, 13.10 p.m. train. For the Chatham Islands, per Omaha, on Wednesday, Jan. 11; at 11.30 a.m. The next mails for the United Kingdom, vift Southampton and Brindisi will close at this offioe on Jon. 15. The mail via Southampton will be due in London on March 17, and the mail vift Brindisi on March 10,1879. - A Post-office has been* opened at View Hill, Oxford district. .Mails close at Christchurch on Wednesday and Saturday at 6 a.m., and arrive at Christchurch on eame days at 7.8) p.m.
