Heavy floods are reported in the Motueka district, where people are being removed from their houses in boats. Dunedin, Feb. 6. By last mail Mr Gillies, of Dunedin, received his recognition from the University of Aberdeen as Clinical lecturer of medicine ia the University of Otago.
