The a.s. Gazelle ia now on Messrs Grubb and Co/s slip, in Baker's Bay, undergoing a thorough overhaul, _ , .. The barque Mary Ann Annison and the topsail schooner Elibank Castle hauled off from the wharf yesterday, owing-to the heavy rains. _ The barque Espeonlador, Leith, master, got under weigh yesterday morning, but owing to the heavy easterly sea, she brought up some distance ahead of the ship Lady Jocelyn. The barque Moneymok got under weigh at 9 a.m., and also the bng CraigEUaohie, but the wind changing to the N.E., the vessels were compelled to return into port and in hsrbour on Saturday, nt noon, left Newcastle, , N.S.W., on April 18, with light westerly winds, which continued until midnight same day, when the wind hacked into S.E., and lasted for forty-eight hours, then veering round to the N.W. Made Cape Farewell on April 29, at daylight, with strong E. and E.B.E. winds until off Mana Island. From thence had light westerly winds. Passed Cape Campbell on the morning of May 3, and was off Kaikoora Peninsula at noon same day. Was then becalmed for forty-eight hours, the wind sprmging up suddenly from the eastward.
