Lyttelton, Feb. 11,1874. 1495 CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL, IN pursuance of Clause 121 of the Municipal Corporation Act, 1867, 1 hereby give notice that the ANNUAL ELECTION of ASSESSORS and AUDITORS under the Act will take place on the 2nd day of MARCH next, and I hereby require that all candidates at such election be nominated as hereinafter mentioned before the day of nomination (Saturday, 14th February) at the office of the Town Clerk. Any person desirous of nominating a candidate must do so by leaving at the office of the -Town Clerk before four o’clock in the afternoon of Friday, the 13th day of February, a nomination paper in the form or to the effect given in the Bth schedule to the Act; such nomination paper must he signed hy not less than three persons duly qualified to vote at the election, and also hy the person named therein as candidate.
