The city council invite tenders for the whole or any portion of £4500 value of DEBENTURES issuable under the authority and provisions of the Municipal Corporation Act, 1867, and City of Christchurch Loan Act, 1871. The Debentures are for £SO each, redeemable in the year 1922, will bear interest at six per cent, per annum, payable half-yearly in Christchurch, and are secured on a Special City Rate.
