Teams to be on the ground by 9 a.m. To start at 10 a.m. sharp. CLASSES. There will be First, Second, Double Furrows, and Boys, and a Special Class for Prize given by Mr H, F. Gray, for Skim Ploughing, viz.:—Furrows to be 18 inches wide, and not less than 4 inches deep. Cast Steel Shares can be procured from BOOTH, of Christchurch, to fit on large-sized Hornsby plough. If three competitors, there will be two prizes—£6 and £4. If only two competitors, one prize of £5. First, Second and Boys’ Classes to plough half an acre. Double Furrows and Skim Ploughs, threequarters of an acre. ENTRANCE FEES. First, Second, and Double Furrows, 10s Boys’ Class, ss. N.B.—No Entrance Fee for Mr Gray’s prize. No entry will be taken after July 2nd. All the classes open to all comers. The Judges will be on the ground all the time. There will be a DINNER at Taylor’s Hotel in the evening.
