MAIL NOTICES.
Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Africa, and America, West Indies, and Sandwich Islands, will close on Wednesday, Ist June, at 8.45 a.m. For newspapers at 7.30 a.m. For issue of money orders and registration of letters on May 31, at 5 p.m. For Northern provinces of New Zealand on Wednesday, Ist June, at 9 a.m. Late letters for all the above places may be posted till 9.25 a,m. on Ist June, such letters must bear the usual late fee in postage stamps. Mails for the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Asia, and Africa,-via Suez and Marseilles and Brindisi, will close at 1.45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1. Correspondence intended to be forwarded by this route must be specially so addressed. Mails for Northern provinces of New Zealand and Australian Colonies, will close at 1.45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1. Correspondence for the Australian Colonies and the United Kingdom, may be posted until 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, and with a late fee until 5 a.m. on Friday, June 3, such letter must be specially addressed via Hokitika.
