MAIL NOTICES.
Mails for Otago, Southland, and the Australian colonies close at 11.15 a.m. on Monday, May 30. Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Africa, and America, West Indies, and Sandwich Islands, will close on Wednesday, Ist June, at 8.45 a.m. For newspapers at 7.30 a.m. For issue of money orders and registration of letters on May 31, at 5 p.m. For Northern provinces of New Zealand on Wednesday, Ist June, at 9 a.m. Late letters for all the above places may be posted till 9.25 a.m. on Ist June, such letters must bear the usual late fee in postage stamps.
SPECIAL MAIL NOTICE. Mails for Hokitika, Greymouth, and offices on the West Coast Road, will close on Saturday, May 28th, at 8 p.m., instead of on Monday, May 30. Late letters will be received till 5 a.m. on Monday, 30th inst. This is an exceptional case, and regular days will be resumed on Thursday, June 2.
