Mr Waeckerle provides horses both at Pigeon Bay and Akaroa for the conveyance of passengers, and also runs a coach to the Head of the Bay. Horses, 8s each way ; Coach fare, 4s. Good accommodation may be had at J. Pitcaithley’s, Pigeon Bay, for families; dinners ready on arrival of the Steamer. The Halcyon is a new vessel; she has superior cabin accommodation, and is provided with a ladies’ cabin; she carries 35 tons of cargo in her hold; she is licensed to attend Steamers, and is prepared to take off passengers or cargo at one hour’s notice.
