Mails for Otago and Southland will dose at Christchurch at 11.30 a.m. this day. Mails for Wellington will close at Christchurch at 11.30 a.m., instead of 4 p.m., as previously advertised, this day. Mails for the Continent of Europe, the United Kingdom, Asia, Africa, and America, the Australian Colonies, and the Northern Ports of New Zealand, will close at Christchurch at 8.45 a.m. on Friday, May 14. Newspapers at 5 p.m. this day. Money Orders and Registered Letters at 5 p.m. this day. Late Letters for all the above places can be posted until 9.25 a.m., by affixing an additional sixpenny stamp.
