The ship Celoeno cleared the Customs at Lyttelton late last night for London, and is expected to sail to-day. The schooner Excelsior and the ketch Jupiter have cleared the Customs with full cargoes of grain, the former for Auckland, and the latter for Nelson. The barque Collingwood will haul into the stream this morning, and ihe Southern Cross will take her place. The brig Ben Nevis, the barques Crishna, Tell, and Cantero are waiting for berths to discharge their cargoes. Thk schooner Black Hawk, Captain Swanson, arrived in harbour yesterday, from Picton, en route for Timaru ; left on Monday List; experienced strong westerly winds. The barque Cantero, Captain Davidson, arrived in harbour yesterday morning from Newcastle; left that port on the 22nd April; made the laud on the eighth day out, and passed through the Straits on April 30; was off Wellington on Sunday morning. Experienced strong south and south-west gales all the passage, with heavy head sea. The barque has a cargo of coal consigned to Mr C. W. Turner.

The schooner Mavis arrived on Wednesday night ; left Hokitika on the 29th April; had light S.W. breeze to Cape Farewell, which was passed at midnight on the 30th ; ight variable winds and calms for the next twelve hours ; strong westerly wind to abreast of the Brothers ; passed a brigantine •If Queen Charlotte Sound, supposed to be Hie Lady Don ; passed the brigantine Bravo, and brig Deva, off Wellington Heads ; had light northerly winds and calms from Cape Terawiti to the Kaikoras ; and encountered strong S.W. gale on the 3rd inst off the latter place ; sighted Port Cooper on (the morning of the sth; passed through the heads at 6 p.m., with a strong N.W. breeze.
