High Water—B.s a.m.; 8.30 p.m. Information has been received that the clipper-schooner Lady Don, and the ketch Emerald, are ashore at Kaiapoi. The ship Light Brigade did not clear the Customs on Saturday afternoon, as was expected. She will clear this morning, and sail on the first favourable opportunity. The s.s. Keera, Captain D. Joyce, arrived in harbour on Saturday at 7 a.m. Left Dunedin at 11 p.m. on Wednesday last; arrived early next morning at Oamaru; remained there four hours; sailed again at 7.45 *.m.; arrived at Timaru at 3.30 p.m.; remained there until the following morning, Bailing again at 11.45, and arrived at this port as above. Experienced strong N.E. winds throughout the passage.
