MAIL NOTICES.
Mails per Phoebe, for Otago and Southland, will close at Christchurch, at 2.15 p.m., and Lyttelton, at 3.16 p.m., on Tuesday, the 30th inst. Mails per Beautiful Star for Wellington, will close at Christchurch at 11.16 a.m., and lyttelton at 12.15 p.m. on Tuesday, the 30th inst. Mails for the United Xingdoa, United States, Canada, ria Panama, and the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Christchurch at 1 pm, and LytUlton at 2.16 pm, tn Monday, the 6th of July. Lettars for Mexico, South America, the Continent of Europe, and other Foreign Countries, saust be posted befor# 12 noon, the same day. Monty orders must be procured, and letters registered,before 11 am, on the 6th July. Money orders must be procured beforo 6 pm, »n Saturday, the Ith of July, andletters registered before noon, on Monday, July the 6th, at Lyttelton.
A supplementary mail for tlw United Kingdom, and the above named places, will be made up at 10 am, on Tuesday, the 7th July, and conveyed to Wellington by the Phoebe in time to catch the Panama steamer.
The hours for closing these mails are stated in accordance with the latest notice givon by tho agents of tho sailing of the teasels. If any delay takes place, the hour of the closing of tho mails will be deferred, or supplementary mails mailo up. Mails per Omeo, for Wellington, Nelson, and Australian Colonies, will close at Christchurch, at 4 pm, and Lyttelton, at 5 pm, on Monday. Juno 29th. 3
