We learn from a telegram in the Argus fron Sydney, that the schooner St. Kilda, in chargi of a master and crew, placed on board by thi British Consul at Fiji, arrived there on Dec. 10 The seizure is owing to the vessel having landei ft cargo of spirits, shipped here for the South Seas or the New Zealand coast, and the crew havinj then forcibly taken the vessel from the Custom officers. Tayler kindly officiating, wit! the usual ceremonies. The enterprising owners Mr. Geo. Tayler, of London-street, and Mr. Drew of H.M. Cuii3toan, havesuperintended the buildup of her, and, so far as model is concerned, we ma; safely say thnt nothing requisite has escaped thei: attention. She is 27 feet long, 6ft6 in beam, an 4ft depth of hold, and built after the style of th celebrated yacht America, with all the additions improvement*.
