Mails per Auckland, for England, the Australian Colonics, India, the Mediterranean Ports, Otafro and Southland, will close at Christchurch nf 7 a m and at Lyttelton at 9 a.m., onSaturday tlie 10th inst; and at Kaiapoi, at 2.30 p.m., on Fridav, the 16th inst. Money orders must be procured before and letters for registry must be posted before 6 n m on Friday, the loth mat. Late letters, for places beyond by navment of an extra shilling stamp, ano tor places within the colony by payment of an extra sixpenny stamp upon each letter, can be P° s^ d at Christchurch until 0.30 a.m. and at Lytltelton until 11.30 a.m., on Saturday, the 10th inst. Mails per Phoebe for the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Christchurch at 4 P-m., and at Lyttelton at 4.16 p.m., on Saturday, the 16th inst-
