From the above Report it will be seen that the Business of the Company has very materially increased in all its departments during the past year ; and particular attention is therefore respectfully requested to the advantages and security which the Company now presents, as well as the great facilities which it commands for transacting business. In the Fire Department, in addition to the paid-up Capital of £250,000, the Reserved Fund of £183,684 ss. 6d., and a Suspense Fund of £73,078 10s. 3d., there is the security of £1,750,000 of subscribed but uncalled-up Capital.
