CFrom the Nelson. Colonist, July 4.) The Tararua, which sailed for Sydney from Nelson on the 3rd instant, took the undermentioned quantities of gold from Nelson Ozs. From the Union Bank of Australia... 5,158 „ Bank of New South Wales 5,500 „ Bank of New Zealand 5,700 16,358 The value of this shipment is £63,377 ss. By the June steamer 19,182 ounces were exported, and the shipment in May was 16,395 ounces, giving a total of gold exported from Nelson for the three months of 51,835 ounces, the value of which amounts to the large sum of £190,860 12s 6d.
