Messrs. Wcledge and Co. offered for sale, by auction, on July 7, the hulk Gratitude, &c., stranded on the beach, opposite Mr. Leslie's Boarding House, Norwich Quay. The conditions of sale were as follow ' The purchaser of the hulk to allow the buyer of the coals three clear working days to get the coals out. The hulk, with the foremast, exclusive of the anchor and chains, was the first lot offered, sold for £40, purchased by Mr. Fielder; lot of spars, on the beach, sold for £2, purchased by Mr. D. Davis; about 47 tons of coals sold for £70, purchased by Mr.D.Davis; the cables (about 90 fathoms) and one anchor sold for £19, purchased by Messrs. Miles and Co. _
