"William Andrew Jarvey remanded to next session, in consequence ot the absence of Dr. Macadam. John Kiordon remanded to next session. Richmond decided that his indictment was Illegal. Crown Prosecutor blamed. Great fire at Port Chalmers. Loss, £5000. The property destroyed was that of Messrs. Hadock. M'Leau, Scott, and Lees. English mail hourly expected.
