Mr. Slater appeared for the Sequestrator, Mr. H. F. , Seaser. The information was laid under the sth Clause of the 42nd seeiion of the Act, because the defendant had <;mitted some property from his schedule filed in the Surreme Court, on January 3rd last, and had thereby committed a misdemeanour. The defendant did riot appear, and a warrant was issued for his apprehension. Likcest.—James Burrell was charged with the aboveofffctiue. Detective M'Eiroy stated that on Saturday last, be arrested the prisoner about t wen ty-six no iles from Christchurcb, on the charge of having stolen some harness, the property of the esiate of the inf erit : James Innes was called, and stated that he Knew the prisoner, who in company with two other ffien named B -aumont some time ago brought " E ' ,Vfcr 'plated harness to his house, and satd that tl.e harness belonged to Hollingworth, but jnat thev had as much right to it as he had, cause he was robbing his creditors.
