CHRISTCHURCH ORPHAN ASYLUM. NOTICE is hereby given that Tenders are required for the supply of the undermentioned articles to the Orphan Asylum from August Ist to December 31st, 1864 Mutton, of the best quality, per lb. Shins of beef do do Bread, per lb., to be weighed when delivered at the Asylum, twenty - four hours after baking. Potatoes and carrots, per ton Flour, per cwt. Milk, per quart Sugar, tea, rice, oatmeal, treacle, butter, raisini, soap, candles, salt, washing soda, per lb. Matches, per dozen boxes Firewood (black pine or manuka), stocked at the Asylum, per cord Coal, best quality, per ton _ The above articles to be delivered at the Asylum in such quantities as may be directed from time to time. The articles enumerated may be tendered for separately or conjointly. Each contractor shall enter into a bond for the due performance of his contract. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
