NOTICE is hereby given that a list has been prepared setting forth the amount of the proposed rate ; the names of the persons liable to the payment thereof; the sums payable by each of such persons ; that the aforesaid list is deposited for inspection at the Municipal Council Office, Town Hall, Lyttelton ; that the Lyttelton Municipal Council will meet at the Council room on Wednesday, 3rd August, at the hour of noon to hear objections thereto. Any person whose name shall be on the list who shall object thereto on the ground that he has ceased to be liable to be rated in respect of any property for which in such list he is proposed to be rated, must give notice to the Clerk of the Council of his objection and the grounds thereof three clcar days before the 3rd August next, or his 'objection cannot be entertained.
