Manufactures.—Such as leather, furs, skins, &c., specimens and illustrations of natural history, and physical science, upUolstery, works in precious metals, and their imitations, jewelry, &c., &c. IV. Fine Arts.—Such as paintings in oil and water-colours, architecture, medals, engravings, &c. Prizes or rewards for merit in the form of Honorary Certificates will be given in Sections, 1, 2, 3. Medals or some other award of merit will be granted by the Commissigners to persons who have advanced the Arts, Industries, and Manufactures of New Zealand by zealous services, or by sending articles to the Exhibition which do not fall under the awards of the Juries, which are of great merit.
