HOOD; & CO'.S SOLUBLE SHEEP DIPPING COMPOSITION. mHIS PREPARATION, which is well-known ir X ' Great Britain as a certain cure for all skij diseases of sheep, is already proved to be the best and cheapest remedy for scab yet offered in thesis colonies. It does not stain or injure the wool lik< most other remedies. It increases the growth anc weight, and improves the quality of the fleece. Shee{ can be cured by this preparation for one penny pei head. The following report was submitted by th< judges in reference to some experiments on scat instituted by the, Government of Victoria, at the Model Farm near Melbourne. . We beg to report that upon examination, of thf sheep dipped in Mr. Hood's jduiii) thai THE DISEASE HAD BEEN MOST EFFECTUALtY ERADICATED. The general healthy appearance of the sheep and wool clearly established 'th 6 ifact ak.to the curative properties, and the beneficial effects produced by its application, and considering the sheep had'been penned up dttring the experiment, arid artificially fed, the result is highly satisfactory, proves beyond a doubt that a cure has been effected, (Signed) W. Wilson, Esq., Derrimut, under date 2nd March, 1864:— Gentlemen,--Having tried your isheep dipping composition, I beg to state.'tlifi I dipped 33Q la!ftibs, all riiore or : less a 4ip» with 20lbs of your preparlatioij, 125 were used, thus making, the Cost l2s 6d. Thiey .were shorn fifteen days afterward and, only two iliowed the slightest trace of the disease remaining., ftiey were again dipped and thoroughly cured.
