Ekrata.—ln our report of the Provincial Council proceedings of Wednesday evening last it is incorrectly stated that Mr. Birch's resolution as_ to the division of the Rangiora and Mandeville district was negatived, the fact being that the resolution was carried on division, the numbers being—Noes, 9; ayes, 11. Upon Mr. Bes wick's motion for a grant in aid of the reconstruction of the girder bridge over the Waimakariri river, it was stated that the remarks by Messrs. Moorhouse, Ollivier, Birch, and Maude, were in favour of the resolution; and those of the Provincial Secretary, Messrs. Tosswill and Hall were in opposition to it. It should have been that the former gentlemen opposed it, whilst the latter supported it.
