Lockhart, Esq., to sell by public auction, at Melcombe Farm, River Avon, on Monday, the 6th day of July next, at 12 o'clock (noon), 130 first-class rams 30 tons superior hay Several tons oaten hay, and 49 quarter-acre sections of land on the South bank of the river Avon. THE RAMS ARE 50 PURE MERINO RAMS (2 tooth) bred by Mr. Austin Barwood Park; got by J. L. Currie, Esq.'s picked rams. Dams, Austin's best ewes; got by Steiger's imported rams, brothers to Wellington, that took the first prize at the Paris Exhibition, and afterwards sold for two thousand guineas. 30 SAXONY RAMS (2 tooth) bred by John Bell Esq., Wanambeen; got by Steiger's imported pure Saxony merino rams. Dams, the late John Aitken Esq's picked ewes. 50 PURE MERINO RAMS (4 and 6 tooth) bred by G. and A. Chenery, Devil's River, from their best flocks, combining the blood of the best flocks in Silesia and Saxony. THE LAND is beautifully situated upon the south bank of the river Avon, a short way below the Avon Church, and is admirably adapted for building sites; it is divided into quarter-acre sections, and, to ensure a sale, will be put up at the low upset price of £20 per quarter-acre, on easy terms of payment.
