NOTICE TO IMMIGRANTS.—AII immigrants indebted to the Provincial Government on notes given by them on account of passage money are required immediately to attend at the office of the Immigration Officer, at Christchurch, to pay the amounts due, or to make satisfactory arrangements for meeting their liabilities within a limited time. CELEBRATION OF THE MARRIAGE OP HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCE OF WALES. HIS Honor the Superintendent directs that the celebration of the marriage of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales shall take place on the 9th day of July next, except in the case of the town of Lyttelton, where, at the special request of the townspeople, the day is fixed for the 7th day of July. HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that lie has fixed THURSDAY, the 6th day of August, 1863, at the hour of noon, at a sitting of the Waste Lands Board in the Land Office, at Christchurch, as the time and place when a sale by auction of town and rural lands shall take place, in accordance with clause 24 and clause 35 of the Waste Lands Regulations, subject to the usual conditions of sale, and in conformity with the regulalations for the disposal, sale, letting, and occupation of the Waste Lands of the Crown now in force within the Province of Canterbury. Applications will be received by the.Waste Lands Board on and up to Thursday, the 16th day of July, 1863. A schedule of the sections of land to be offered will be published at least ten days before the day of sale, in accordance with clause 29 of the Waste Lands Regulations. THOS. W. THE HOPE, COFFEE, CHOP, AND BOARDING HOUSE, Mauket Place, Christchurch. THE proprietor of the above establishment begs to tender his thanks to the public for the very liberal support he has received at their hands, and wishes to intimate that the additional extensive accommodation which the increasing business demands, is fast approaching completion. THE LARGE DINING ROOM, with every convenience, is now open to the public, where good substantial meals can be had at any time in the day, from a quarter past 7 a.m., to 10 p.m. The tables laid for regular meals for boarders and others. Breakfast at a quarter past 7 a.m. Dinner-at 12 o'clock. Tea at 5 p.m. The casual custom for chops, steaks, snacks, coffee, tea, &c., punctually attended to as usual. The extensive single bed room accommodation, likewise rooms for family visitors, will be ready for occupation early in July. There will be a private room adjoining the dining room, where writing materials, cheque books, &c., will always be kept for the use of visitors gratis. Care will be taken to keep on the tables a good supply of papers and periodicals, Local, Colonial, and English. A system of registry will be established through which the employers will be able to secure the labor required, and the parties requiring employment will be able to meet with the employers. The proprietor feels confident in carrying out this scheme so much required, being himself a practical mechanic of five years standing in this province. The bed rooms and dining room will ultimately be thoroughly plastered and ventilated. Quoits, chess, draughts, and backgammon boards will be supplied, and any other comfort or convenience will be adopted that may suggest themselves to the proprietor.
