COKER BEGS most respectfully to inform his friends and the public in general that his COMMERCIAL AND DINING ROOMS, Cathedral Square, will be OPENED on the Ist JULY NEXT. Arrangements have been made for a regular supply of all the leading English and Colonial papers and periodicals. An accurate Notice Board will be kept in a conspicuous place of all sales by auction ; and also of landed and other properties on sale or lease. There will be a first-class library as soon as the books can arrive from England. There will also be a room specially devoted to writing purposes, containing an ample supply of stationery and writing materials, in which gentlemen may be free from interruption. Particular care will be taken to keep this room quiet and private. There will also be a private dining-room attached to the commercial rooms. A lad will always be at hand for the express purpose of delivering letters, messages, and parcels to any part of the city. A Register Book will also be kept of persons requiring employment, on a morecomplete system than has hitherto been attempted, so that parties in search of labor may be able confidently to rely on the recommendation of the proprietor, which will not be given in any case without due and proper enquiries. TEA, COFFEE, CHOPS, STEAKS & SOUPS will be served at any time at a moment's notice. An ORDINARY will be provided every day at One o'clock. Particular attention will be paid to the comfort and cleanliness of the bedrooms. With the view of meeting the great want of evening recreation, there will be, in addition to the library, a good supply of chess, draught, and backgammon boards, and other social amusements; and a debating class is also proposed to be formed. No effort will be spared to render the establishment a pure source of general enjoyment after the labors of the day. Mr. Coker begs to state that it is his firm determination to keep the house as select as possible, and to conduct the establishment in such a way as to secure the universal respect and approbation of his guests, and to render it a really comfortable home to all parties.
