Feb. 5,1862. 1248 PURE MINERAL WATER. fjPHE Pure Mineral Waters which are produced 1 byHADLEY'S BORING APPARATUS have been fully tried and approved by several gentlemen who have expressed general satisfaction. The system by which Hadley's Apparatus for boring is arranged precludes all possibility of vegetable matter in any form from entering the pipes thus producing water having a strong resemblance to the clearest filtered water. By these means only are you able to obtain pure water, which is so conducive to health. The wells and rivers in and around Christchurch have been duly analysed by professional men and found to be so full of vegetable matter and animaloul® that they have expressed as a general opinion that half the sickness on an average is occasioned by the water hitherto used. J. HADLEY therefore begs most respectfully jfco announce to the inhabitants of Christchurch and the surrounding vicinity that he is prepared to bore and sink pipes on the most reasonable terms. For full particulars and testimonials apply to J. HADLEY, Engineer and Smith in General, 1353 Hereford Street, Christohurch. ~~ IMPORTANT TO STOCKMEN AND JOCKEYS. ~j £\ PAIRS of superior White Buckskin jLjmU Breeches have arrived, ex Evening Star, and are on sale at HOBBS and SONS, 724 Colombo street, Christchurch.
