Sturgeon, Esq., of The Elms Grays, Essex, being the produce of stock descended from the pure flock of his late Majesty George the Third, and since bred without cross or stain. At the Agricultural Exhibition of all Nations held at Paris in June, 1856, a prize of 600 francs and a gold medal was awarded to Mr. Sturgeon for a pure Merino Tup exhibited by him, of the same breed as the Rams now advertised for sale. Also, The pure bred short horned Bull Crimson Lad, imported in the ship Constantine from London | bred by Joseph Peat, Esq., Church End Farm, Welleden, Middlesex. Crimson Lad, Red, calved in July, 1858, and got by Crimson, Red calved March, 1854, got by Warrior (12287) Dam (Cherry) by Bumper (10005) G.d.
