This celebrated horse, imported by J. W. Moorhouse, Esq., was got by Conqueror, a pure bred Clydesdale, out of Diana, the best bred Suffolk mare in England; grand-dam by Euphrates; great grand-dam Old Smolensko; who realized by private contract the sum of £2,350. Westminster'is five years old, dark iron grey, stands eighteen hands high, on short legs, a sure foal-getter; perfectly staunch in harness, and allowed by competent judges to be the finest draught horse ever imported into the Southern Hemisphere.
